Winter Event 2018 Now Live!

Hey there everyone! The 2018 Winter Event is officially LIVE now!

Once you update your game, go to your Empire Store in your Capital City and find all the new quests for the event.

You can find every detail regarding what's new in the event in the attached graphic! We hope that you all have lots of fun playing with friends during the holidays.

Items from winter chests are not tradeable and cant be added to vault?

jup stuff from stores stil bugged. And i am sure someone working on that issue, so thx for that.

And i have another question: what about the quest; repeatable quests 0/8
example; persian coersion not counts, its repeatable but dont counts, is that planned that way or an issue? Means all aliance quests dont count for that part ?!

Hey broskies, first of all massive thanks for the support this game is getting and the massive event that was brought to life, second of all the winter legendary items seem a little underwhelming compared to other items, for example the sling is only used in 2 civs?, the priest staff has no range so it's pretty much making priests useless since no legendary quest has "that" many siege, also gotta factor in the fact that siege has a load of range, arrows are ok for the most part and the axe is only useful for like 2 units? (Harjar and chief). I gotta commend the dev team for the event it's very original and offers a nice way of playing the game.

I have tested the arrow (19.5 snare) with Kosmas 20% snare (advisor) on gastras with belly 41.7 dmg / 4.7 speed / 19.5 range / divine robe 33.1 dmg and std. master gauntlets.
In that case, i have to say the arrow has no dmg on it and i felt like my units died instantly lol

I would personally prefer to use acteon / delian / darkness.

Sooo mates what i want to say is, you made lots of work for this event, thats for sure but i am not sure about that you gave right stats on the items.

I will stil craft items and play the event like always.

There absolutely was a Roman civ in development. We know a lot more about it than what is on that wikia page.

I have a question about this Winter Event, the points and the end-date of it all...

IF we still got Winter Points left when the event is over - are there extra time to spend them on as I read it was some other year? Or must we spend all we wanna use before the event is to an end?

 

It is probably best and safest to spend them now. We have no plans right now for winter points to be usable after the winter event. Also, I believe, but do not know for sure, that they will be usable next winter.

 

It looks like Romans will be Greeks and Celts in one civ. Won't it be better to see something like Amazons or Atlantis, something really new?

 

Anything we add should adhere as closely as possible to the themes of the existing game. Therefore, we would never add a fictional civ.

 

I loved both this and the Halloween event.

I really hope you can run these two events again in the middle of the year, as it kind of stinks that the only events the game has are both at the tail end of it.
