Winter Event 2018 Now Live!

Hey there everyone! The 2018 Winter Event is officially LIVE now!

Once you update your game, go to your Empire Store in your Capital City and find all the new quests for the event.

You can find every detail regarding what's new in the event in the attached graphic! We hope that you all have lots of fun playing with friends during the holidays.

Be patient - you don't even know what the new quests do! (hint: you can play any quest)

 

By Level 40, the quests that players regularly do are legendary, elite, and/or repeatable. Players leveling up already have a huge assortment of gear and stuff to chase down, so our new content and events are naturally focused on giving endgame players something to do (including PvP players, of course).

Super idea, (as always) I wondered when the Winter event would be more than coins . I am writing this as my game updates.

Unfortunately, since I got an IP VDSL router from my provider I have an IP V6 address and I cannot co-op anymore not even with my bro on the same WILAN. Guess I have to buy the VPN thing ...

I will not farm, just play normally as I like the gear but I am not desperate ( I got 3 swords in halloween as I went nuts LOL )

Q: If you farm with all your civs and use mail is that gonna make you get banned ? I don't want to risk that .. no way

 

Really hype for this event, i hope there is enough time to get some of these items crafted before the event ends though. Thank you for the hard work devs and happy holidays!

 

Hey broskies, first of all massive thanks for the support this game is getting and the massive event that was brought to life, second of all the winter legendary items seem a little underwhelming compared to other items, for example the sling is only used in 2 civs?, the priest staff has no range so it's pretty much making priests useless since no legendary quest has "that" many siege, also gotta factor in the fact that siege has a load of range, arrows are ok for the most part and the axe is only useful for like 2 units? (Harjar and chief). I gotta commend the dev team for the event it's very original and offers a nice way of playing the game.

Great news, haven't tried it out yet but it seems like a better event than the last one. Looks like grinding won't take as long and doesn't involve farming chests for the most part, so that's nice.
