Summer Event 2019 Details!

Hello there Celeste players! The Summer Event is finally here.

Once you update your game, go to your Empire Store in your Capital City and find all the new quests for the event.

You can find every detail regarding what's new in the event in the attached graphics! We hope that you all have lots of fun playing with friends during the event.

So let's break down the details of the event in a question-based list:

1. How do I access the special event content?

2. What are the new contents available in the event?

• New mini-game style Quests and a very difficult Legendary Quest, with awesome rewards.
• New PvP Quests with HUGE rewards.
• All-new Gear, Vanity Gear and Capital City decoration: The Summer Vanity Set and The Temple of Apophis Capital City building, entirely new and exclusive to Celeste.
• All-new Region with an exclusive store: The City of Rhakotis

3. Where do I find the new Quests?
In the City of Rhakotis.

4. Where can I get the new PvP Quests?
Both in Sparta, and in the City of Rhakotis. (The Quests have two questgivers who will give you the same quest.)

5. Can I get every event Item playing only PvP or only PvE?
Yes! Everything is obtainable by playing either mode.

6. What are Summer Points, what can I get with them and where do I spend them?
Summer Points are the special currency of the Summer Event. You can use them to buy Vanity Gear, Capital City Decoration, Consumables, in addition to an exclusive Gear - Ra's Wall Joints of the Solstice all at the City of Rhakotis Store.

7. What are the Global Quests?

They are quests that can be done in any game mode and inside any quest. They include, but are not limited to, the following types of quests:

• Play Repeatable, Elite or Legendary Quests
• Play Co-op Quests with your friends
• Play PvP matches for a certain amount of time (Daily and Weekly Quests)
• Hunt various animals in quests
• Defeat special treasure guardians (Guardians of the Solstice)
• Exchange materials for Summer Points

8. How long will the event last?

The Event is planned to be 5-weeks long. There has been a timer added to the sidebar on the Forums with a countdown, indicating how long you will have to play the Summer Event.

Well if I want to complete the legendary one I do need to make all the resource ones sooo that's not an option :'D

 

Oh, fair enough. I just pvp and play low level pve for the most part.

 

Are you found the Easter Egg on the Temple of Apophis?

 

After summer event update, party gets bugged for some people when they accept any quest from quest giver 2 ( armored elephants or material quests). Players getting kicked from party and are unable to coop until they abandon all these quests. This happens only from some civs.

 

Are the 3D model of the new Legendary Gears will be fixed? For me, all of them have a pure black default model. Nothing orange art on them.

 

Will the events of this time be able to continue playing or are they removed over time? Even in offline mode

 

Events have a timer, summer event timer is displayed at the bottom of this page. After the event ends you cannot play the quests/ get the gear/ points/ mats anymore

 

Until next year And there will probably be new quests then too! But there's also probably going to be a different set of exclusives.

Fantastic content. I don't regret I donated again. So many different things to do, also for people like me who doesn't do PVP. Keep up the good work. This kind of stuff is what make this so special. Thanks a lot

Yeah, delighted they have included some City buildings in this event.

I got a Temple of Apophis on my Celts within a day or two of event starting, no idea where it came from. Anyone know if they drop from those Ellie Guardian Chests or just random drops or rewards from event quest turn in chests? Anyone else got one as a drop?

 

Haven't seen one drop myself! at 375 points they seem cheap enough though. (Make sure to buy them on the civ you intend to use them on! )

 

I got one temple from chest, random drop.

 

Is there a minimum level or another pre-req for this event? I have version V2.0.8.2 installed and Marcus Pollux doesn't have "City of the Sun God" on his quest list and Rhakotis city doesn't appear on my map. I just started playing a few days ago, so I'm only level 13 (Egyptian).

Actually, lvl 20 is enough to reach the city. Lvl 40 is needed for the legendary.

Next Summer Event, and there may be another new one then too.

 

What has happened to all the summer events quests?
Is it a bug or is the timer wrong?

Very very annoying, as I have a large qty of summer points that I was going to spend on Ra's Walls and vanity!!!

Forum timer still shows a day and half left. Seen a few players complain same thing last night (with 48 hrs left) while I still had them, but logging in this morning I find everything Summer has disappeared from Rhakotis and any missions/side quests that I had already in mission tracker have now disappeared also.

 

I was going to ask where the count-down timer has gone since I know it was past wednesday it was supposed to go and I needed to do the Legendary a couple times more to get use of my materials. This is very bad if it's gone - would need to be extended for a week or so now I think, this likelly messed it up for many of us.
