Hello everyone,
Having read through trade chat today I saw a number of people (myself included) discuss how the new quests could be played and what strategies to use in order to complete them and the bonus objectives, as well as sharing useful tips and tricks.
I think it's a good idea to have a thread dedicated especially to such events (Halloween, Xmas, Summer, etc.)
I've recorded a few of the quests and I'll share the links here as a start:

- Dead In Your Tracks

- Tomb, Sweet Tomb

- Don't Let Bahram Be Embalmed!

- Legendary: The Dead of the Night

- Legendary: Fright Club

- Legendary: Only the Gourd Die Young

- Legendary: Your Finest Horror

- Legendary: Bring Out Your Dead

- On Your Gourd! (Celts cameo)

Cheers~

On Tomb Sweet Tomb, rather then killing things (Like that first pack of Spearman and Sparabara) have your HHM tank everything while your mummies run by. Kill soul guardian, smash wall, win, bout 4 minutes with most of the time being the soul guardian.

Hey, that's a good idea, I can try it! I suppose I was preparing myself for the worst hoarding up on mummies and playing it relatively safe-ish. The Horseman is pretty powerful as well.

You do need a good amount of Mummies to quickly take care of the Soul Guardian, but you don't need to kill every single mob. Put everything on Stand Ground so they don't zerg whatever is near, and your Horseman just gets Mummies and tanks shit while your mummies run by.

Tips for Dead in your Tracks
First: Advisors/Milestones:
We're in Age 1, there are no good Advisors here.

Milestones:
  • +8% Inf Dmg. If you don't have it, use +1HP/s Selfheal Inf/Ranged/Cav.
  • +8% Inf HP
  • +5% Inf Speed. If you don't have it, use +2% Crit for Inf/Ranged/Cav.
  • +5% Ranged Dmg
  • +25% Bonus Damage Protection. If you don't have it, use +15% Priest Heal.
  • +3% Inf/Ranged/Cav HP

General Tips:
Shiva is faster than your units, and she's sometimes really stubborn and hellbent on dying. What to do?
  • Her movements are scripted/timed. Meaning, the faster you kill enemies (kill efficiently), the more time you have to heal before moving on.
  • Your Healer has an Area of Effect. Meaning, if Shiva and your other injured units are all right next to each other, your Healer can heal them all at the same time (heal efficiently).
  • You can not entirely block Shiva with your units, but you can stall her if you need more time to heal up. Just select all your Combat Units (control group 1) and keep blocking the direction Shiva is headed in. You can stall her for some seconds this way.
  • Right from the start order all units to go north, and assign them the number 1. Usually your Healer will be the unit in the very back, assign him number 2.
  • Use Shift Queue! Meaning, order control group 1 to attack enemies in the order in which they're approaching. That way the enemies will deal a lower total amount of damage. ALWAYS kill the bosses last! (kill efficiently)
  • EDIT: Enemy Ranged units are Gaesatae. Meaning, their attacks are poisonous and deal damage over time. Often when you surprisingly lose a unit, it was these fellas (you can actually lose a unit even though you pulled it back, simply because it dies to the poison. If that is about to happen, make sure to heal that unit immediately). So my advice is to take them out fast. Two hits by your own Ranged Units are enough to kill them.

If you care about the Optional:
  • Shiva has tons of HP. Ideally you let her absorb all damage from the Bosses. Target Shiva with your Healer (control group 2).
  • Pull back units that are about to die. As soon as they stop taking damage, order them to attack again.

tl;dr:
  • Milestones!
  • kill efficiently. Use Shift Queue to target approaching enemies.
  • heal efficiently. Move injured units next to Shiva and heal them all at the same time.

That's a pretty comprehensive guide there, Luki

The tower strategy from Don't Let Bahram Be Embalmed! works pretty good with On Your Gourd!

With On Your Gourd, I just wall. And wall. And wall some more.

On the West, South, and East corridors, I make 4 walls each. With the North corridor, 3 walls is fine. NE corridor, a single wall does the trick.

The trick is bringing the walls out to the point that the allies no longer patrol past it - This then causes the allies to use their bowman to huge effectiveness. Not to mention the mummy AI likes to derp and AFK after tearing down a wall, which in turn clogs up the passage way preventing further attacks on walls.

If you have Bes, you can basically AFK after the first 3 minutes, since you make the walls so fast.
