I'm very excited for the unit advisor rework!

    Better Fortress Units

First of all I wasn't even thinking about enabling all of the units on their civilizations (especially the Persian units like the Kardaka). It would overload the rosters with units that do the same things as the normal units. I felt like that went without saying. (Though I feel like the...

    Better Fortress Units

After thinking about it I realized that it would be very impractical to buff the advisor units. It's a fact that most of them end up being outclassed by leveled up normal units. Some like the Desert cavalry aren't even that interesting. That being said I feel like some really cool unit designs...

    Better Fortress Units

It would be cool if the advisor units got buffed. Especially the ones that are more unusual (Gaesatae and Head hunters). In all honesty I kind of wish that one of those units didn't need a advisor to train. It would help give to Celts more variety.

PvE Rostam In Zabol Content Pack Now Available!

It's pretty fun to mess around in Zabol using the scout that spawns. Also I didn't know that Bahram owned smoke bombs.

    Advisor unit tier list

Has anyone thought about making a tier list for advisor units? I know they aren't the most practical as most fully equipped normal units make them obsolete. Despite this I feel like this could be a fun thing to do. Here is my personal tier list based on my personal experience. I don't expect my...

    The First Annual Talent Show

I used helmet crests as a motif for the bow and staff. The battle axe is based on the Minoan ceremonial axe.

    The First Annual Talent Show

This is late but here are some ideas I had for Mycenaean themed vanity gear. Unfortunately I don't know how to 3d model yet.

    PvE Redesign-An-Advisor Contest!

In-game name: JoshTheAspi Suggested change: Ranged siege units attack +10%/15%/20%/25% faster (move to age 4) Reason for this change: I think that change would make this advisor stand out more while also being a throwback to the aoe2 celts.

Please consider creating a Japanese civ. I will happily pay for it.

I really like the Idea of a poll.

Please consider creating a Japanese civ. I will happily pay for it.

I Investigated it more and realized that the timeline of all the AOE 1 civilizations used for definitive edition didn't have the Japanese start in 300 BCE when the Yayoi period started. The Yayoi period was when Japan entered the iron age while experiencing a massive growth in agriculture and...

If Japan isn't likely to be a playable civilization, then do you think Zhou, Qin, or Han china would better ideas?

Here are some examples of haniwa. These are some stylized buildings (and other stuff). And these are haniwa of Armor, a soldier, a woman, and a noble.

I forgot to mention proper samurai didn't appear until the 10th century CE and Haniwa are clay statues that were placed around tombs.

I've been interested in the idea pre-samurai Japanese civ. I think it could specialize and archers and cavalry. I would also love to see pre-samurai armor done in the AOEO artstyle. There could also be haniwa everywhere.

Weekly Blog #20: Enneris, 8-Slot and 12-Slot Warehouses

You guys accidentally replaced "Stashur" with another "Gilgashed". Also I love the way the roman ships look.
