Capital City Decoration Contest #2!

Hello there Celeste players!

Some of you were waiting for it, this is the Capital City Decoration Contest #2 !

After Crassus for the first contest, Bahram will be the main sponsor of this second edition and will offer some wonderful prizes.

As you can see in the attached graphic, we will be accepting entries until 2024/07/04, after which the best submissions will be selected for the community to vote here on the forums.

When the final winners are determined, we will be sending you your prize directly in your in-game mail. The first and second winners will be contacted here on the forums first so they can select their gear prizes.

How to Participate in the Contest
============================​

To enter the contest, simply take up to three screenshots of your favorite capital city and post them here in this thread. (or if you can't post them directly here, upload them to imgur and share the link here.)

Don't forget to include

• your in-game username so we can send you your prize, should you win any of the prizes!
• the in-game name of your city so that other players can find it easily for a tour.

Contest Rules
============​

1. Only post pictures of one capital city. If you have more than one capital city that you would like to share with us, save it for the next contest! This one won't be the last. Participants who post pictures of more than one capital city will be automatically disqualified.
2. Only post up to three screenshots of your capital city. This is so that going through the screenshots is manageable for us and so that everyone has a fair chance of competing with the others. Participants who post more than three screenshots will only have their first three screenshots considered when choosing the final contestants for the community to vote for.
3. Any participant trying to buy or influence votes will be disqualified.

Prize Rules

1. First Place
   You may choose any piece of gear in the game! That's right! Any piece of gear, including Bahram's, event gear, questline completion gear, you name it.
2. Second Place
   You can choose any piece of gear except Bahram's item.

• Personal favorite
  I will choose a capital city among the finalists and offer a prize even if I am not as rich as Bahram. You will be able to choose between one gear (except Bahram’s) or 500k.

Here's my Greek city... It only has the name; this city brings together all ethnicities and a blend of all civilizations. I wanted a city where everything was mixed. Unfortunately, it is far from being finished. Indeed, I am missing wonders, including those from Crete that I do not have. Without mentioning the Carthage and Pelos dwellings, which cost a fortune in points. so Pleiade is still under construction. But I hope you will like what has already been built.

Welcome to TRIPOLI my dear friends let me guide you to my Greek capital city !

So dear friends lest start.Here we are at the port market. As you know, Greece was famous for its naval trade. Here, we have all the docks along with the markets and the Grand Dionysus Theater.

City Heart! Every city has its heart, and here we are in the downtown area, next to the palace, which you can see in the top left. You can notice some markets, the main post office, and the most important city building with the treasury, which is heavily guarded (I don't know why with 60k, lol).

Last but not least, this was a tricky one because there were many nice spots on the map. However, I decided to choose the small Delian embassy, complete with its own dock and access to the industrial zone. They are trading materials with us as a symbol of good friendship.

Whenever I'm building a capital city, I strive to make it as realistic as possible for that era, ensuring it has a natural flow for people walking through it. Did I say flow? Thanks for your time, and good luck to everyone!

Yes the name of the city is the same as the IRL City but let me explain. I just recently went on vacation last month to Scotland for a week, my Significant other has Scottish heritage on her family side and she invited me along, We went to places like Edinburgh and stayed at the Munro clan's Foulis Castle (Converted into an Air BNB) I just had to change my cites name to something Munro related (Because the last one was Castlebar haha)

Anyways! A little bit of my city. It has 2.5 parts, The main part is the Celtic city itself! Where the wonder is surrounded by a stone hedge like construct. A Greek town to mimic the union of Celt and Greek in Massasila. And a Roman Outpost because of a agreement the Celts had with the romans to allow them to put an outpost in their city under "Good Terns" (But In Reality I bought a Fortified Tower by mistake and couldn't trade it to my Roman City)

When I do cites, I try to give it a lived in feel, Making it grand and sprawling with plenty of life and fill in any missing ends with houses, Units and decos of all kinds. The Screenshots I have provided can't give it justice so I encourage any and all to visit my city when possible!
