Hi there. I believe this is a bug. I am getting the same error on my end.

I brought up the bug and will see where it goes. For now, you should still be able to use the launcher without updating, but if you cannot then you can manually update the launcher by re-extracting the launcher files just as you did when installing it.

I have same popup on my celeste.
I have removed and reinstalled newest celeste gui but stil same.
Someone from discord told just to skip popup and use celeste gui as usual until the bug gets fixed. greetz.

That is correct. For now, I'd do that until it is fixed.
