Maybe this is a series of simple guides for people reaching level 40 for the first time... maybe it is nothing... have a look...

How does this apply to me, you might ask?
Simple, the more civilizations you have leveled, the more milestones you can choose from, and the stronger your civilizations collectively become.

Super-important, and those milestones can add up to make quite a difference.

Also not immediately intuitive in-game, admittedly. I played during the original game, but still forgot about this initially when I started with Celeste.
