Server Server Update [February 13, 2018]

New Features:

• "Global Market Place" has been enabled (it never was in "original" game).
• You can now visit other players city.
• Dynamic load screen ("Sparta xLive" only).
• In game friends list ("Sparta xLive" only).

Enhancements:

• Empire consumable cost increase (and also you now get 3 items instead of 5).
• Priest Of Empires have been nerfed (convert rate is now 3 instead of 1).
• The "Character Selection Screen" will now show an realm.
• ...

Note: Still no reward for winter event, we don't forgot you don't worry.

I have one question ......... what do u mean "sparta xLive" only ??

 

If we don't want to experience the EP nerf, we just don't update the game I assume?

I believe during update/scan the GUI gives the option to select either sparta xlive which is recommended or xlive only.. if you have selected sparta xlive then you will get the dynamic loading screen & ingame friend list

I'm new in the Forum,first of all, thanks a lot for the update! I missed the friends system alot.

But am I the only one who get recently disconnects from games (even without co-op) since the last patch?

PS: Error says: "Server are currently not available" when I restart the Launcher + Game i can login normally.

Does the friends part not work for anyone else? Myself and friends of mine who've been playing AOE since 1997...are unable to add friends. Nothing happens, the other person never gets the invite. At least we can finally do Co-Op, but we have no way to visit each other or see when the other person is on (or of course do the Visit a Friend co-op mission).

You need to use the friend-list in the Celeste launcher (above "play", there is written "soon" in the discription, but it works).
Your friends need to accept you as a friend in Celeste launcher.

Also useful: If you made a friend quest in their City, you maybe need to go there manuell with in-game friend-list. The button "go to quest city" does not work for me with friend quests.
