Server Maintenance [February 3, 2021]

Age Of Empires Online Celeste Fan Project will undergo planned server maintenance on the 3rd of February 2021 starting at 5:00 PM UTC (6:00 PM CET). The server will stop responding to login requests at 4:00 PM UTC (5:00 PM CET) meaning you will not be able to log on from this time. We expect the maintenance to last until 5:30 PM UTC (6:30 PM CET).

• PvP Balance Patch #23
• Added color coding to Age Up texts (both in the pop-up message at the top of the screen and in the ticker)
• Fixed an issue with the Norse milestone "Sunder" where it didn't increase Infantry units' Ignore Armor as intended (PF2K's note: yep, all this time.)
• Minor improvements to the Sparta leaderboard UI main menu
• (Non-Champion Mode Only) Persian Cataphract: Movement Speed increased to 8, from 7
• Reforge UI and Mini-Map Icon Improved
• Increased the size of the icons in the Unit Selection Grid
• Reforge now supports click and drop
• Improved the scaling of the in-game Chatbox for resolutions higher than 1080p
• Added new Loading Screens for Reforge, the PvP Guide, Legendary Advisors and Bahram's Bulk Bundles - more will follow shortly (this time, text-based)
• Added Previous Years' Winter Event Quests to Ice King's Stronghold
• Added an "Archive" name tag to every Archive-type Quest (Previous years' Event Quests)
• Fixed some naming issues in the Battle of Thymbra (and its Legendary variant)
• Fixed some inconsistencies in some Advisors' description text
• Removed the Age Icon from the Party Interface until we can fix some of its issues.
• Added a "Game Rules" button from the Civilization Selection Menu. "Transfer Realm" and "Select Realm" buttons removed from that Menu since they no longer serve a purpose.

Backend Changelog:

• Removed hacks to avoid bugs in dependencies we have fixed and gotten upstream
• Added some missing error messages when registering in the launcher
• Turns out the timeout-value we wanted to deploy last time didn't get deployed, this time it will be for sure

We will be taking down the Server to deploy a hotfix in 40 minutes. Authentication to the Server has been disabled. Expected down is 30 minutes.

• Fixed the Rewards for Winter Wonderland and Ice King Mountain High Enough (Archive versions)
• Fixed an issue with Norse War Dogs and Greek Hoplites that prevented them from doing any damage in Champion Mode
• Elite Quests in Athens now have a Celeste Legendary Chest as part of their last optional objective, instead of Classic Legendaries
• Legendary: Holy Man: Now grants 4,000 Coins, from 5,000 to be more consistent with other 6-day Legendary Quests.
