I was just curious. Certainly Microsoft has been monitoring the game's reincarnation from Project Penelope through Project Celeste but has Microsoft ever said anything formal to us ??? Are they happy to see such fan loyalty ??? Are they "quietly" encouraging us to continue developing the game further ??? Not important but just curious.
 
Project Celeste has been around for well over a year now. This is a subject that gets brought up quite a lot. (Less now, but in the past quite a bit) Celeste operates under Microsoft's "Game content usage rules" The project is not affiliated with Microsoft and is not endorsed by them. One would assume that Microsoft is well aware of us. Hope that helps GLHF

1. Uncertain on that, but that wouldn't be a major concern if no official announcement has been made.
2. Microsoft is happy about profit and business sales. They're more focused on active games supported by Microsoft Studios, including the ones featured on Xbox. The fact that they historically laid off Ensemble Studios and shut down AOEO servers in 2014 shows that money triumphs over any nostalgic values, such as fan loyalty.
