Hello there Celeste players! We are asking for your help today.

In order to make the experience for new players better, we are looking into adding more helpful loading screen tips to the game, such as the examples you see below.

Tip_Examples.png

We would love to hear your suggestions on what loading screen tips you would add to the game. It could be anything from gameplay tips to things about managing your inventory or anything else that you think could be useful.

There are no rules, except that make sure your suggestion is less than 180 characters long, so that it can fit into all screens.

The deadline for this contest is 2021/02/06.

Don't forget to include your in-game username in your post!

We look forward to your suggestions! Thank you and happy gaming.

Secure a fast clear and straight trade route with allied or neutral TCs to provide bonus gold % over trading with your on TC. Its faster and cheaper than building your own.

1. Remember any quest or legendary quest, choose customization advisor

2. Don't always play alone, it's better to play friends together or in a group after searching

3. If there is a quest progressed or lost, always try a different tactic

The XP & Coin Boosters are Universal, for example you can earn/buy them on one civ, activate them, then swap to another civ and you will get the XP/Coin boost on there as well

Storage is Life... With your Empire Points (EP) make sure to save 1000EP and upgrade your Vault, keep doing this till its at its max capacity of 240.

Buy your shops from the market (Marcus Pollux) the 'Summer Grab Bag' & Celebration Grab Bag' in these you will get 10 Heroic Aid Consumables and one 24 Slot Warehouse. When you buy the shops it automatically unlocks on all civs so you only need to pay once basically giving you Six 24 slot warehouses for the price of only 600EP which normally cost 325EP each

The 'Trade' channel is where a lot of players like to hang out, you maybe able to grab some free/cheap loot from there.

Play both Sparta 1v1 & 2v2 since they are all separate leaderboards and you get double the rewards at the end of the season.

Play both Crete Solo and Co-op since they are all separate leaderboards and you get double the rewards at the end of the season.

Empire Points (EP) you get EP from nearly Every Quest and they will just accumalate over time, but you can get some boosts of EP from various places such as 'Daily Login', 'PVP Tournaments', 'Sparta Leaderboard', 'Crete Leaderboard' and 'Trading in Materials'.

You can reforge (reroll) stats on Legendary Items in Sparta's Reforge for Empire Points.

Advanced Workshops are found in a civs particular Regions, for example Egypt (Nubian Experdition) Celt (Massalia) etc, but if you dont have these places open just go to one of your pro civs, in your starting store buy the advanced recipe store then purchase your advanced workshops and move them to the civs you need using your vault.

You can get a free XP & Coin Boosters on each civ, when the 'Northern Hold' questline opens up. If you run the 4 quests to unlock 'Reclaiming Sens' you can get your boosters from there, the quests can be run without any gear on units because you will just use Vemundr (Hero) to do the quests.

Hope some of these may help the community.

Be prepared to run out of collectable resources in your territory. Establish a secure market line for potentially unlimited resources.

Gather resources to create initial buildings, units, upgrades, etc. Establish a market and trade resources for the long run.

Need food and have a lot of wood, gold, or stone. Build a Market to trade resources.

Build Houses or Town Centers to allow more population before it maxes out.

Spend your resources for economy, military, and defense. Thousands in the bank doesn't win. Soldiers on the field do.

Make sure to keep scouting enemy players in PvP! You won't know what units your opponent has until you see them, or their production buildings!

Make your own selection hotkeys! Groups of units or buildings can be bound to numeral keys on the fly. Press control and 0 - 9 when highlighting desired targets to create a control group, and shift and 0 - 9 to add other units or buildings to it!

Egyptian Priestesses are garrison-able just like villagers.

Tired of making Watch Posts? Use units to cover the same ground with the patrol command (T by default)

You can use herdables, and units other than your scout to scout out resources or the enemy early on.

Fishing ships can repair docks and each other, and can even attack other ships and units on the shore!

Remember to pull ranged units that have just attacked away from counterranged units.

If you can't fight your opponent head on, attack their economy.

This should probably be in the launcher, rather than in game

I feel like we need some more Roman suggestions in here!

"The Romans start with an Engineer, who can construct buildings faster than Villagers. You can train more starting from the Bronze Age!"

"Use the Roman Engineer's exclusive access to Millaria to boost the movement speed of your armies and resupply them faster!"

"The Roman Praetorium trains Officers. They are very powerful units with their own unique role and effect, but have build limits and are costly!"

"The Legionary is the backbone of the Roman army. Effective against other Infantry, he is the only unit to have two champion upgrades!"

"The Primus Pilus commands the Roman army. Even though you can only have one at a time, he strikes fear into the heart of his enemies and doesn't die without a fight!"

"The Romans were known for their powerful siege engines. They have access to four of them, the most out of any civilization!"

Your starting warehouse/s is/are locked to your city. All other warehouses when added are upgradable and replaceable

Unlike the Norse Chief and the Roman Aquilifer*, the Celtic Druid can also boost the statistics of allied units when healing!

*needs confirmation on the roman aquilifer but i don't think the aura will apply to allies

several improvements for already mentioned ones:

Stray Cows can be a great food source!
-> stray herdables since there are sheep and goats as well

When trading with Caravans, remember that the farther they travel to their destination, the more Gold they bring in.
-> this caps at 150

Double click a building or unit to select all of that type on screen.
-> actually strg+click selects all visible units of the same type
while double clicking extends to units slightly offscreen

some new ones as well:

- Beware of predator animals like wolves, they can kill sole villagers easily. Remember to research loom!

- Priests of Ptah are the only priest unit that can convert buildings as well as units in groups.

- Norse War Dogs do not cost population space so be sure to always include them in your army.

- Norse Axe throwers are classified infantry and do infantry-type damage even though they have a ranged attack

- Armory upgrades do not benefit buildings like towers.

- Pressing shift+Z while placing a market shows its trade value to every accessible Town Center.

- The Champion upgrade does not always increase damage and health of a unit but often makes them more specialized in one or more ways.

- Remember emptying your production buildings' stock regularly. They stop working once their stock is full and have to be turned-on manually after emptying then.

my tip:

"Fast elite mission needed? Play "Lots of Rouges"! Best way is with warelefant: build 3-4 fortresses in front of the the TC, convert all resources (market place) and let the enemy come through the valley to the fortresses"
