Error Message after pressing play

Hello,

When I try to start the game and press Play, nothing happens for quite a while and after a minute or so I get an Error Message saying:
"An Error occured in a xlive function!
Error Message:
Login to "Celeste Fan Project" Server failed (invalid login information)"
I tried disabling the Antivirus and ran several Game Scans, reinstalled the game several times but nothing seems to work or I am just dumb.
I installed the Game through Steam, I am able to play it Offline (but I want to progress my town)

I am out of Ideas

Edit:
I dont know what I did, but the error message now differs, instead of "(invalid login information)" it says "(timeout)"

Have you made an account in the launcher? Its separate from the forum account.

Another thing to try if you already have an account is to go to the game path, delete xlive.dll and then do a game scan.

Alright, deleted the xlive.dll and did another game scan
It worked like a charm, thank you
