SOLVED Celeste launcher game scanner download files every time i start the game

Everytime i start the game it says i am missing files and have to run the scanner to fix/download the files.. I am on mobile broadband so i dont have unlimited data. So this is not good..

How can i fix this? It is downloading a few GB every time..

As mentioned in another thread, the reason that the game has to scan every day is that the Devs are currently busy fixing bugs and overall patching the game due to the release of the Romans along with most other content. I would suggest waiting till the day before your data resets, and then doing the gamescan - When your data resets the next day you'll have, at most, 1 game scan to do and can thus play until the Devs need to implement a new patch.

ok, i read in another thread it happens if the game crashes also.. Anyways, i started the game after downloading everything again, and now i dont have to. So it is either the crash or it was an update. Either way it is good
