No, I don't agree - because I don't actually want to reach them. Not everyone is consumed by whatever motivation you think they should be consumed by, and with such a ranking system I'd be even less inclined to indulge in this silly party game. ... or to engage in ingame chat.

So, how are you going to accommodate me, or other veterans of the original game who, for whatever reason aren't showing enough stats for your ranking system? I had six civs at lvl 40 when MS pulled the plug, and when it got boring I'd start up another account (since we could do that then), play...

They're challenges so therefore they're not important, and they're not stopping you from doing anything else. And the population limit is hard-coded ... so that isn't likely to ever change, besides having an extra large population would nerf every other quest ... so again, aint gonna happen.

You're right about there not being vanity items in chests .... what I should have said, so that you could understand it. is that vanity TICKETS are found in chests ... which you can then swap for vanity items. To everyone else, it amounts to the same thing ... to you, it's not quite so obvious.

Vanity items are already free - when beginning a new civ you'll be sent to vanity island and you'll pick up four pieces. Great, I can vendor those for 10 coin each ... since I don't value them otherwise, and from time to time there'll be more vanity in loot chest - again free, and again it can...
