PvE Content Pack Preview: Conquest of Britannia

Is it true that trade carts in Britannia will drive on the wrong side of the road? :P

Weekly Blog #31: The Future of the Romans

I'm sure there's one or two on lockdown atm. On second thoughts, he'd (OctaviMarius, not your artist) need a barber, and that probably breaches social distancing rules.

Weekly Blog #31: The Future of the Romans

Can we please have a worthy historical Roman advisor instead of an insignificant Senator Octavius? Gaius Marius for instance, would be a far more worthy advisor, as well as a storyline quest giver.

    PVE Players new Ranking System

No, I don't agree - because I don't actually want to reach them. Not everyone is consumed by whatever motivation you think they should be consumed by, and with such a ranking system I'd be even less inclined to indulge in this silly party game. ... or to engage in ingame chat.

    PVE Players new Ranking System

So, how are you going to accommodate me, or other veterans of the original game who, for whatever reason aren't showing enough stats for your ranking system? I had six civs at lvl 40 when MS pulled the plug, and when it got boring I'd start up another account (since we could do that then), play...

    Paying for gold?

"gold", and "gear" in the same sentence? Seems to be another confusion between Gold and Coin. To be clear - Coin is what you buy stuff with, either in trade or in stores ... Gold is what your villagers mine, or your market carts &/or merchant boats earn by travelling between markets/docks. A...

    the Cancelled Civs

I think they're going straight for the solar power option - put a rock out in the sun for a few hours, then chuck it at someone's head. ... probably not compatible with underwater warfare though.

    the Cancelled Civs

It's basically a submarine ... way too buffed, and I'm guessing fire ships would be kinda useless against it too.

    the Cancelled Civs

Sigh ... The Neanderthals was originally an April Fool's joke, and it's probably time you checked your calendar again.

Option to bypass some missions (paying for skips with empire points)

They're challenges so therefore they're not important, and they're not stopping you from doing anything else. And the population limit is hard-coded ... so that isn't likely to ever change, besides having an extra large population would nerf every other quest ... so again, aint gonna happen.

Neanderthals is being beta tested this weekend.

Vanity items for free (one time only)

You're right about there not being vanity items in chests .... what I should have said, so that you could understand it. is that vanity TICKETS are found in chests ... which you can then swap for vanity items. To everyone else, it amounts to the same thing ... to you, it's not quite so obvious.

Vanity items for free (one time only)

lol ... I said nothing about EP, so why you'd think that was part of the conversation is beyond me :D It looks like Wololoo was pulling your leg - no-one cares about your sisters' playing Barbie ... the point was that vanity items aren't serious gameplay here, so if you're gonna get exited about...

Vanity items for free (one time only)

Vanity items are already free - when beginning a new civ you'll be sent to vanity island and you'll pick up four pieces. Great, I can vendor those for 10 coin each ... since I don't value them otherwise, and from time to time there'll be more vanity in loot chest - again free, and again it can...

Traveling to complete "Neighbor Favor" quest

I got stuck on this a few times too. First, I was just sent back to my capital when it was finished (the same happened with Fisher & Peepaw), so I'd have to revisit whoever's civ it was. Then later the game would just hang on the return to quest city and I'd have to crash out of the game &...
