Weekly Blog #21: Eques, Age IV Town Center, Age III Walls

Indeed. At least give the legionaries a building animation so we can see them building things in some of the Roman regions! ;P

Weekly Blog #21: Eques, Age IV Town Center, Age III Walls

Yeah they previously stated in the blogs that officers will be capped. Similar to the Norse chief, but probably more than 1.... if I had to guess, probably like 3-5, depending on what the balance team makes of the officers. Speaking of the Norse, I've been lamenting a lot recently the fact that...

Weekly Blog #21: Eques, Age IV Town Center, Age III Walls

Those Age 3 walls look absolutely amazing. Honestly, I loved the Age 2 walls/towers as well (especially the unique Roman wood), but I like the (seemingly logical) idea that, as Romans "age up" and "go through time," they go from less permanent structures (while conquering) to more permanent...

Weekly Blog #19: Treasury, Crafting Hall, Legendary Legionary Gear

Very much makes sense, Andy! At the end of the day, getting the Romans is amazing enough in itself that any extra bonuses are just that--extra bonuses that we don't deserve. Getting the civ itself is in fact more than we could have asked for.

Weekly Blog #19: Treasury, Crafting Hall, Legendary Legionary Gear

I like the idea of the Romans getting a different crafting school that is unique to them, instead of getting one that is unique to the Celts. Even if they don't get something like that, I'm excited to see them in all their splendor! They'll have plenty to fawn over, I'm sure.

That's amazing! That you're working them in, that is... not that they were overlooked haha. As always, you never fail to amaze. The treasuries for both the Celts and the Norse look very cool... and Romans do too, although that Crafting Hall is particularly amazing!

Weekly Blog #19: Treasury, Crafting Hall, Legendary Legionary Gear

I must say, it looked cool before, but the legionary looks even more absolutely amazing! Ok so for the treasury building... I am dying because I just noticed this past week that Norse have no treasury. But then I also realized that I never got the treasury for Celts. Can someone PLEASE tell me...

A Sneak Peek into the 2019 Halloween Event!

Oh and regarding the third character that is set to join Pompey and Caesar: surely it is the third member of their triumvirate, the man himself... Crassus, right?! If not Crassus, then probably Mark Antony or perhaps Augustus/Octavian. But my money is on Crassus! And if it is Crassus... Boy do...

A Sneak Peek into the 2019 Halloween Event!

I'm also sad to hear about the Romans, just because I am so anxious for them. Nevertheless, real life obligations always take precedence over a game... And quality is always better than speed when it comes to an entire civilization! I wish you guys good luck and all that as you navigate the rest...

Developer Spotlight: Review of Quest Data

In all seriousness though, I love the idea of more quest diversity. Variety is the spice of life! Big opportunity to introduce a never before seen (in Celeste) quest pack after the Romans are released to kind of go hand in hand with them, imo.

Though this certainly doesn't mean all great men reach their accomplishments from a platform built by their fathers.

Weekly Blog #18: Decurion, Embassy, Age II Analysis

The target deadline is still "by the end of 2019," though there have been several indications that this may bleed over into 2020. No definite information yet. I think I've seen some of the devs indicate somewhere that some of the combat animations will be unique to Rome/Roman units and are...

PvE The Treasures of the Nile Quest Pack now available!

Besides, I thought the whole point was to create some money pits for end-game PvE players to sink their coin into? I am not one of them, but I have heard rumors of Coin Titans who have 1, 2, 3 million coin or more... Seems just about right in that regard. But I feel ya, as a casual PvE player...

That is absolutely a good thought too! The unit you train to age up builds a TC.

PvE The Treasures of the Nile Quest Pack now available!

Question: does this coincide with the limited reintroduction of the summer event that was mentioned a few weeks ago? Or will that be a separate announcement? Edit: Nevermind, just read the server maintenance blog. That's a yes, summer event is back til Oct. 7!

Weekly Blog #18: Decurion, Embassy, Age II Analysis

Man. My mind is racing regarding the mystery of the Age 1 unit that is unrevealed but listed in Age 2 graphic. I thought it must have been a mistake at first too, but then I realized we're talking about AndyP and PF2K here. Those guys do everything with detail and intention. My initial thought...
