Look in launcher .. in Tools > Helpers > Windows Features, see if it states all is installed

By default in windows, the file extension is not shown, you have to set it to show that in options.. Thats not an issue .. Im stuck as to what the error is, is that error the exact wording ?

did you place the launchers files in the games folder ? The launchers files should be in the same directory as spartan.exe Should look something like this

After you install the game and install the launcher, you will have to run Game Scan, which is in the launchers Tools .. That will download patches needed to play, patches contain added content, added quests etc....

Can you screenshot the error ?

We have added content to the original game, is why you downloaded more files after you installed the game.. We just had a patch on Saturday and then a hotfix on Sunday ..

Maybe try adding the games folder to your antivirus exclusions.. If it asks everytime you start the launcher to do a game scan and it actually does download files, then that might be the issue

Sorry for not replying sooner .. Have you tried playing in fullscreen windowed mode? Then just hit windows key on keyboard will show the taskbar

Have you tried updating your sound drivers ? If you have onboard sound card, you may have to visit the motherboards site.

Make sure Diagnostics mode isnt running after using, it tends to bug after first use and stops the game running

Try enable Diagnostic Mode in the launcher, which is in Tools > Game Settings .. Play until it crashes, you should find the crash dump files in your Documents\Spartan\MiniDumps folder. Disable the Diagnostics Mode after use.. Zip/winrar the files and upload them here or may be quicker if you...
