I like the idea, but I think every civ has some unit that isn't meta in PVE. I think they did a good job of making Chariot Archers and Infantry more viable in PVE, I'm sure in the future they might work on some of these other niche pve units.

Thank you for saying this. I have a wife and a full time job as well as I'm sure many good players do. For most PVE players breezing through legendaries is casual and not something they're putting their full focus into. Long story short, OP just needs to git gud.

So apparently as per some tests done by UR_Totombo, elephants show crit animations but the extra damage doesn't actually go through? I will test for myself as well but I trust Totombo.
