On your picture, the sword looks black with some green engravings.
On my hippikons, it is gray and the engravings are barely visible
any idea?

Adding new contents is always a great Idea to me :) but I believe the devs are having higher priorities now. Hopefully we'll reach that point soon

I have the same problem and believe that adding a UI scale slider would be really great.
