AoE online works with a MacBook Pro (OS X Intel based)

My nephew would love to play AoE, but we only have a MacbookPro here. Can I also play AoE (Celeste Fan Procect) on OSX? Steam can be installed on an Intel Mac, but then AoE (Celeste Fan Procect) also runs? Thanks for enlightenment
