Windows 11 - An Unexpected Error Occurred

Hi,

i just changed my System from Win10 to Win11.
Now i can't log in. Launcher 3.6.0.0 says "unexpected error".
But also says: Firewall and Windows Features are OK.
I did a fresh Steam AOEO install. Scanner works, gamefiles were updated.
But login in my account is not possible.
Is it a known issue or does other players dont have this problem with Win11?
 
I did a rollback to Windows10, but i stll can't log in.
I run again a fresh install via Steam and let the scanner update the game-files.
But anytime i want to log in, i get the message that an unexpected error occurred.
In the past (i got this error about 5-6 times in the last 2 years) it was enough to reinstall AOEO. But now...no chance :(
Btw - no virus scanner except MS Defender active. Even if i stop firewall-protection it does not work.
Any idea what to do or what to check?
 
I tried some things and got a solution: i deactivated the "NetBIOS-Filter" in my Fritz!Box.
I'm really sure that i did not activate it by myself and there was no Fitz!Box Updates...but after deactivating it i can log in :)

Can you run through how you did this again? I can't seem to log in either and I NEED TO PLAY *itches*. Also, how did you realize that the netbios was preventing you from logging in?
 
Another (for me working) solution is to restart router/modem to get a new IP-Adress.
Don't know why, but the last 3 or 4 times i got the message, that an "unepected error occured", i had no more problems after reconncecting to my isp (1und1 Telekom).
