Will Summer Event points carry over?

Considering that the Capital Report show entries for Halloween Points and Winter Points, even though I wasn't playing at that time, I'm pretty much assuming that Summer Point will carry over until next year.

Having said that, do we have any official confirmation that this is true?

Yeah the currency stays, but it's probably worth spending as next summer event's exclusives might be different, and you can't spend the summer points until the event starts again.
