    Age Of Empires Online Celeste Fan Project will undergo server maintenance on the 26th of July 2020 starting at 1:00 PM UTC (3:00 PM CEST). We expect the downtime to be on around 1-2 hours, but this can be extended. There will be multiple server restarts in the process so we recommend you not to try to connect to the servers until we confirm that it is safe to login.

    This patch will include the Summer Event and many other updates.

    • Celtic Villagers: Now properly use their special attack animations after researching Call to Arms in Champion Mode
    • [Invasion of Verona]: Fixed an exploit where the road taken by the arriving stone miners could be walled off.
    • [Invasion of Aegitna]: Fixed an issue where Greeks, Persians, Celts and Norse wouldn't start the Quest in Age II.
    • Sheep, Goats and Sacred Deer now properly get selected with Villagers when easy-drag-military is enabled.
    • [Quest: Wanted: The Vill Killers]: Now properly counts Black, Alpine and Brown Wolves towards Quest completion.
    • Fixed an issue where placing Gates would be prevented by having a unit very close to the long wall piece.
    • Various updates to the French, German and Italian versions of the game.
    • Contrebis' Master-Forging Design Icon changed to match its functionality.
    • [Holy Man]: Fixed an exploit with the map where players could abuse the Holy Man Magus to convert enemy Villagers, effectively disabling the AI.
    • Grand Architect Master's Masterpiece Blueprint Icon changed to match its Building Icon.
    • Added tooltips to the Metalworking Crafting Recipes and Crafting School to indicate that they are exclusive to the Celtic civilization.
    • Embassy added to the Lodi region.
    • Norse Demo Quest: Now Repeatable, to be consistent with Persian and Babylonian Demo Quests. (Thanks Lukipr0 for pointing this out!)
    • Legendary: Invasion of Nikaia: Timer text fixed to display "Time Remaining" instead of "Time Challenge".
    • Legendary: Liberating Giza: Timer text fixed to display "Time Challenge" instead of "Time Remaining".
    • Quests that have more than one Optional Objective now display "Optional One", "Optional Two" and "Optional Three" in the objectives list.
    • Legendary: Recapturing Alfheim: Timer text fixed to display "Time Challenge" correctly.
    • Empire Point Store UI updated to display correct information
    • Athens Legendary Treasure Chest renamed to Celeste Legendary Treasure Chest. Chest Icon updated.
    • Fixed an issue where Norse War Dogs would fail the "Train No Cavalry" optional objective, when they're listed as "Huntable" unit type, and Norse Chiefs would count as Infantry, when they don't have a specific unit type.
    • Legendary: A New Rebellion?: Improved the "Enemies Defeated" objective conditions so a single Villager hiding in a corner in the map won't stop players from completing it.
    • Sturdy Staves and Slings (Capital City Store) now has its own Blueprint Icon.
    • Hanno's Heavy Hull now properly displays on units as a Legendary Gear item.
    • The Athens Questline has received significant improvements to its storyline strings (quest text) (thanks to Kalandros for helping out with this!)
    • Tyr's Mithril Breastplate renamed to Tyr's Magnificent Breastplate
    • Fixed an issue where some headgear would display improperly on Greek Peltasts
    • Skirmish Exclusive Rewards have been added to the Skirmish Hall interface in Cyprus.
    • [Search Tool Website]: Crete and Skirmish Exclusive Advisors, Blueprints, Recipes and Gear now properly show on the website, and can be specifically searched for using the keywords "Crete" and "Skirmish".
    • Fixed an issue where Norse Rhapsodes would heal only at 1 health per second in Champion Mode.
    • Fixed multiple exploits on various Quests.
    • Fixed an exploit in co-op which allowed gaia units to destroy buildings of the own player that would count towards quest goals
    • Fixed an issue where Sparta and Crete Chests and Large Chests were not dropping the intended loot. These chests will now give much better items compared to before.
    • Changed the text on the Out of Sync error message to show that players can press ESC to continue playing whilst out of sync. This error message will be improved further at a later date.
