Option to remove zoom

I suppose it is zooming with the scroll wheel of the mouse that is your problem. Then, if it could be remapped (currently it can't afaik) like other hotkeys, you could set it to a combination which you wouldn't use.

Related to this I would like it if there was another 1 or 2 levels to zoom out, for using it from time to time. I don't know if that is possible, or whether it would be desirable wrt pvp balance.

Playing on maps with high elevation is a pain because of the zooming mechanic - Some of the Well of Urd quests have such high elevation that your field of view becomes extremely limited.
