Issues loading into game after login

I've been playing for a few days now without issue, but today I haven't been able to get in to any of my civilizations. I make it to the Civ selection screen, but once I hit play, I get stuck on a black screen with my cursor (not the normal loading screen). I have uninstalled/reinstalled, checked my files and connection, but no dice.
Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

That's strange. Try booting into safe mode with networking and see if the issue persists.
