is PVP still a thing?

I mean, with all those legendary items and stuff, isn't it unfair or sorta unbalance? is PVP still relevant or ranked matches are far more fair and square.

Let me know cause PVE is fun and all, but how about PVP?

And, what about the CIVs, I've seen the leaderboard having all GREEK civs, is other CIVs still possible?

Pretty much everybody uses Ranked/Champion PvP. (Gear, Level, Advisors etc all do not matter and have no effect except cosmetic)
As for civs, I've seen alot of civs played, but one of the PvP pros can answer that quests better than I.
