Helepolis not recieving pierce damage upgrade from smithy

    Title says it all, i've noticed recently that my purple helepolis are sitting at ~150 pierce dps and not showing the little arrow symbol from blacksmith upgrades.

    Does it receive the armor upgrades?

    It does, and displays the correct armour/shield icon on its unit card.

    Does it get the Melee damage?

    It must mean that the unit is not classified as ranged

    So the issue is with the pierce attack upgrade icon in the unit stats tooltip and not the actual scaling of the unit's DPS, right?

    I'm just double-checking that, i suddenly realised i might be mistaken.
    *edit*
    yes, i was mistaken about the range damage not scaling.
    I was looking at the crush DPS which doesn't increase because there aren't upgrades for it.

    Ohh it has crush. Yeah that is not increasing like the Ballista for example

    the crush is the melee attack, the pierce is the ranged, i just managed to get the two mixed up and with the lacking arrow icon, I thought there was an actual bug, rather than just a missing icon.

    So the pierce dmg part does increase?
