In the new Advisor rework Rockhound Erastos, Miner Kleon and Lumberjack Thutmose get conservation, but their descriptions are a little bit confusing.
"Villagers gather X% more resources and have Y% conservation"

The Conservation is cleared out in the devblog: 30% conservation give you 30% extra resources. Its OK. But what is the "gather X% more"? Another name for the conservation? No.

In my test my villagers can carry 11 resources without any research or advisor. With Epic Lumberjack Thutmose, I can carry 11 food, 11 gold, 11 stone or 13 wood. When I gather 100 wood from a tree, my bank has 125 wood, what is the 100 wood plus the 25% conservation.

So, my suggestion is to change the "gather X% more" to " can carry X% more".
For Lumberjack Thutmose:
Villagers can carry 20/16/12/8% more wood and have 40/34/27/20% conservation.

I think this will be better to understand what are those advisors do.

you cannot change it to 'carry more' because it affects the gather rate as well. It is better to understand it as 'your villagers gather X% faster and carry X% more wood' so overall your villagers 'gather X% more wood per trip'.

Keep in mind that due to how gathering rate works, more gathering rate IS more carry capacity.

This is more easily seen with Fishing Boats and their Fishing Nets then with Vils, but you can also see it on Vils when you go from gathering 10 of a resource baseline to 11, which generally happens once you get one of the upper-tier work tools (As well as going from 11 to 12 with food or wood once you grab either of the good tunics).

So for all those era 1 (Plus irrigation specialist in era 3) gathering advisors, "Gather more" is accurate as far as game mechanics go. If it was just harvest faster, then you wouldn't have an extra 20% or whatnot increase as your villagers would have to make extra trips, wasting more time moving then gathering.

Also, keep in mind that Conservation is a %age change - Sure, 25% conservation is 25% more of a resource, but 50% conservation isn't - It's actually 100% more of a resource (If there was anything in the game that gave 90% conservation, you would essentially get 10x of the resource from a single node).
man, you are wrong, 50% conservation means 50% more resources but if you have +25% and +25% you get more than 50% because it stacks multiplicatively. You are not getting 100% more resources with 50% conservation.
