SOLVED Banned

Hello,

I got banned about a week ago for standing AFK in PvP. At the time i had no idea it would result in a ban or else i wouldn't have done it. I just wanted to ask how long the ban is for and if it's permanent, is it possible to ask for a lesser punishment.
