Bahram's Lottery Now Available!

Header-Lottery.png

Good dawnings to Bahram's friends near and far.

The wait is finally over, and starting with today's patch, Bahram's Lottery will finally be available!

Without any further ado, let's get into the details of how the Lottery works.

Lottery Explained
=================

After the patch is done, you can access the Lottery by going to Tarsos and clicking on Bahram's Lottery Building as shown in the picture above.

The Lottery runs on a weekly basis, meaning that you have a chance to win either the Coin Prize or the Gear Prize by purchasing Tickets every week! Now what are all of these things, you ask?

Lottery Gear Stats
=================

Now that the Lottery is finally here, we can start going back and fixing some of the things that had gone out of balance with the addition of some of the new Legendary gear in Project Celeste (long ago, that is, not recently.)

One of the more critical parts of fixing this issue is making sure that Moe's Mystorium once again has its place as a viable coin sink. To this end, we are planning to partially rework Moe's. Part of this rework includes removing some of the items from the loot tables temporarily to reduce the current overflow we have in their availability.

This is not the first time we have had to go back and fix some of the problems with item availability. Some of you may remember that we had to do this for Bow of the Master Hunter as well, where we first removed it from being a droppable item, only to reintroduce it as a craftable item, as it always should have been.

These 6 items will receive a similar treatment.

Bahram awaits you all in Tarsos, and may Hormzad bring you great fortune so you may win one of the two prizes every week!

All current and future content will stay 100% free and accessible to everyone.

Thank you so much for reading, and we will see you all next time!

I read "a winner" for both coins and gear - does that mean that it's max 2 persons winning each week, and only one lottery item added to game per week then (isn't that very low)?Also are they soulbound or possible to sell?

If I understood it right and assume there will be millions in pott each week - it's ALOT of coins likelly to just one person per week, isn't it better to have it spread out a bit more?

Two souls will win each week! One will win the coins, and the other will win their choice of gear! Bahram is generous!

I personally think those item are too powerful compared to normal item. Key items in the game are now outdated. Being only available trough lottery and being much better than what you can get in legendaries create a weird situation where Gold farming become more important than doing end game content.

By not limiting the amount of ticket, it allow rich, long date players to flood the lottery with tickets, literally buying item that are more powerful than what you get by doing the hardest quests in the game. Also, the winner of the Massive gold prize that will be generated the first weeks will reinvest in lottery creating a cycle and dividing the player base even more.

I dont know if im the only person who express that sentiment, but thats what first striked me by reading this post. Kinda worried of its effect on the game and community.

I think this is a valid way to provide a gold sink. Getting one of these items will mean that you need to dump 1.5m coints each week into the game.
The best players already almost have everything and hopefully this will reduce prices of items also, there are far too many people with hundreds of millions and few options for new players to buy new stuff. This will mean that the mega rich have a way to blow their coins and not just pass it from one to another.

The key items are still present in the game. If these seem expensive to a player, that player simply isn't at a game progression point to attain them yet, be patient. These items are very great. They are for players at end game, bored, stacking up coin with no real use for it anymore. Regular players can attain them with some patience.
Since half of the gold is removed to combat inflation, if players over use, the end result is less coin in circulation. With only one coin winner, the likelihood of the same player winning every week is extremely low. We do not want to make other gear pieces irrelevant, which is why these pieces are so expensive, and take so much time to attain.
It's also one of the reasons that we limited tokens. To encourage players to spread coin out amongst many lotto's instead of just one or two.
Also, keep in mind this is new territory for us, we do try and think of everything, including things you mentioned, and we try and get it right first time, but that does not mean we can not or do not expect adjustments here and there. Have fun, and relax, we got your back ; )

I honestly don't see any very overpowered items to begin with, they are like variants of existing ones, and besides the Light Armor they are also nerfed compared to existing ones on most stats. Beside that - the silly few of this items that will come into the game per year is so low that it in now way could change anything drastically even if they really were OP.

The items will be tradeable ; ) sell away if you please

Regarding the new recipes, please use some other items to make and not as much silk! it will create crazier prices. maybe use crete materials also if possible.

lol i have a grand total of 2k coins , and i been playing ages, how do you make coin in this game when you suck at leg quests? :(

The material usage is actually pretty balanced along items. Silk is being used up quickly to make Bow's of the Master Hunter. Hang tight though, we have an epic exchange in the works that down the road will let you trade one material stack for another, with a fee ofc.
