haha dont worry its more then clear and not rude at all. we ask that question ourselves all the time. its difficult for us as well to pin a date of the release. but we are aiming for the end of the year. we are making great progression but we still have a large section of the animations to do.

Indian Dev Blog #8: Gatherer Elephant, Fortress, Age 3/4 Town Center, Gear Progression and more!

let me try to give an answer on your question. most fortresses are point symmetrical around the x and y axis. in simple words: the central tower is perfectly in the middle of the design and all 4 towers are exactly the same. what we tried is to deviate from that design perspective and come up...

    Weekly Blog #28: Wonder, Milestones

The wonder took us some time. We liked the patheon, but the true beauty of the patheon is "inside" the building and not visible in the game view. The colloseum is characteristic for the romans and can easily be linked to the roman civ

Suggestions to improve the game Part 1

Hey, i have voted against your suggestion. Not because i dont like them but because i know how hard some of them are to implement. A few of our team members are putting almost 100% of there free time in releasing the romans. Others are putting there time in making the events. The hard coding...

    Weekly Blog #25: Engineer, Millarium

The problem with palins is that they are already close to overpowered in pve. Not all quests are build to counter these units. Making palins more accurate, giving them more damage or range will overpower these units even more. Just keep in mind that there are already advisors which make palins...

Really depends on your strategy. Ones you play more pve quests you start to advance your unit training facilities. This means you make barracks amd other facilities close by the enemy. Als on pvp you make fortresses, walls and facilitiest closer to the enemy to gain a better map advantage.

cant say to much about the game mode since it is still in early development but don't be afraid, it will be something completely different then all other modes or alliance stuff. side note: Crassus was killed in battle, Pompey was assassinated in Egypt when he lost from ceasar and we all know...

You guys are right that the romans are a siege based civ, but this does not automatically mean its weak in inf, cav, spc, siege of navy. It is all related to how the values are devided. You can make 1 type very weak or all others less powerfull but not weak. Hope more info around the last units...

There are still some units left, the wonder, some late age building upgrades, and a full arsenal of roman capital buildings. Besides that we have a full region to build with unique structures. And it does not stop there. A civ also needs his personal nature textures, trees, bushes water and cliffs.

The romans will not be a civ you want against you. Ones they start to build siege you know the end is near. And with their walls and towers: they are always reach for a counter attack. Its not not nothing the romans were one of the strongest civs ever existed.

Haha As explained earlier we follow a concept of the roman army camps for the standard buildings. Everyone knows roman architecture because of marble and colums. But marble and columns are very expensive and were only used in main cities. Whats why we reserve marble for the bigger buildings...
