It's just the direct shortcut that doesn't work for me. The new launcher works fine, but I liked the direct start. What does not work for you?

Does the no launcher shortcut method still works? I get a message saying the game is corrupted when using the shortcut. Edit: apparently the new launcher pointed at my old directory and redownloaded the files there and the shortcut was trying to open the wrong spartan.exe. All works well now.

I had noticed that there was variation in gold per seconds in different maps. That MAX_MAP_LEN explains it! I was very close to the formula otherwise. It's mentioned in work rate. I guess it just multiplies it.

That's good to know. With some rudimentary testing I can see the different crit type on the immortals attacks. The Ra's armor of the solstice has only one type of crit. I guess it's melee.

That must explain why there was items with similar stats with very different power level in the spartan reforge. I saw the change in the patch notes. Do you know what happens with those stats now? Were they rerolled when merged or averaged? Theres also a crit arrow that can affect the melee...

Thanks for that explanation. yeah unmoving huntables would not cause random temporary unbuildable locations that would be great. If it was possible to have live huntables move aside and only the dead ones blocking construction could be good too.

Please don't tell me so! It is so annoying to get delayed by deer packs randomly running right into my plans. ..Oh well, I guess I'll just have to plan for that as well.

Recently I have not been able to build over huntables (dead or alive). It used to just have the huntable move aside or just delete the corpse, but now its just red buildings that can't be built until the huntable moves away or after gathering all the food.

This seems to occur on low shadow setting only. On off, high and very high, the millariums don't cast this huge shadow.

Would it be possible to add a way to see the time remaining on the cooldown of quests? I know I could just write down when I do the quests, but I think it could be a nice qol thing. No need to be precise, just some estimate rounded to the hour or day under the available/current quest list of...

If there was a checkbox when starting a quest to chose the cooldown and get the reward corresponding to its star rating for this cooldown, I would probably alway chose the highest cooldown.
