Hey all,

I hit level 40 and am basically doing every quest once just to clear everything in the game. So, I'm doing lower level quests (lvl 30+), but I've to restart nearly every time because the enemy NPC has full epic gear, whereas I'm still in greens/blues.

Played AoeO alot back in the day and am avid AoE/RTS player in general. Is there any guide for gear progression? Getting gold to buy legendary items takes a long time..

The Player Aryzel made a google sheet with basic and max gear choices for all civs.

Thanks man, I saved that file too but was looking for which quests to farm etc.

Also Provin915, I hope you know the trick about running Ambrosia Obsession (Babylon questline) on as many of your lvl30+ civs, preferably twice per day, since the cooldown is 12 hours.

Without this guide, I would be so broke all the time. Now getting better, but I only have a single lvl40 civ. Need to get the Norse and the Babylonians to lvl40 and with some purple gear, just so then I can do the quest easy ;)

Another suggestion is to look into crafting. I'm only now starting to see synergies between some Crafting schools and some recipes, almost glove-for-glove, but others tougher to synergize. Anyways, I'll put that discussion into another thread, because it deals more with crafting.

Thanks for the help. Been playing tons since the winter event and pretty much full geared on main civ :P

Now I have to level my other civs!
