Hi all,

For those of you that may have an interest in AoE II, there is a huge PvP Tournament starting today called Hidden Cup III. All the finalist players real identities are hidden which really adds to the event. The tournament starts today at approx 14.00 UTC and goes through to Sunday and has a massive 50k dollar prize pool.

It has been a huge success in the past with truly huge viewership and is well worth a look and it will have you glued to the screen for days. About two decades later and all the AoE series of games are still doing fantastic :)

I wish you all well in this difficult time of the Global Coronavirus Pandemic, stay safe and well.

Thanks for the info man! Pretty cool idea having hidden player identity til after it's ended.Wonder if we should try it in a showmatch or invitational tournament here some time :D

On another note, wonder if the forums could benefit from a general-non-aoeo, or offtopic section

Day 3: The Quarter Finals hits 46k viewers.

I watched this extraordinary 11.5 hour cast yesterday and delighted to have seen some of the most incredible games I've ever seen having entered my twentieth year of playing and watching this game. Can't wait for today's games and the reveals.

The Semi's / Final start today at 14.00 UTC for those interested.

Come along and join the fun and support this sister game (probably more like Mother game)

*Happy Mothers Day to all the Mum's out there in any nations that celebrate it today, it surely will be a different Mother's Day for most in our current global condition.

Edit:
Finals Day just finished > Hits 51+k viewers. Reveals at end was just as exciting.
20 year old game is alive and kicking :)
