Installation issues / errors , help greatly appreciated

Hey guys , i have installed everything in the list

Still cannot run the game
What is GAME SCAN ? i tried to google but found nothing
i get a XLIVE.DLL error

Any help greatly appreciated , i loved all the AOE series and have been playing them since i was a teenager in the 90s (granpa now ) )

The game scan downloads essential game files, not sure why you're getting that error and can't complete it. Best people to help you are the tech guys, ncsgeek and wartai. Look for them on discord, help channel. Welcome and hope you solve this issue and you are able to play soon!

Thank you very much for welcoming me and replying , i have managed to fix the rest of the error but one
I still get that first photo error the STD one

An antivirus could cause this issue I think. I've seen people with bit defender having this issue before. try adding the game and the launcher as an exclusion

Yes for the last error the fix was disabling the internet security for 1 minute !
Working now !
I'll see how to create a rule for it

The same thing happens to me but download file Art.bar

Try disabling Download Boost if it's enabled. In the launcher next to the version number, click the hammer icon, select Game Scan. If there's a check in the box on that screen, remove it and try the scan.

you can change your antivirus, the problem might be occur through antivirus which you are using.
