A Sneak Peek into the Winter Event!

Hello there Celeste players!

As we approach the Winter Event, I thought you would like to have a preview of what is coming with the next patch. So let's get into it, shall we?

Since this is perhaps the biggest content update we have ever had in Celeste, I will break it down into question-based sections:

Are we getting new Quests?
==========================​

Oh yes! For the Winter Event, we are adding 7 (yes, 7!) new Minigames and 4 new Legendary Quests. Available for a limited time only, these quests offer a unique visual setting for players and new units to play with and against! Find them in the graphics below:

Is there any new Gear? How do I get it?
===================================​

Just like last year, we have new, event-exclusive pieces of Gear! Obtainable via both PvP or PvE, these pieces of Gear are available for everyone to get! More details will be revealed when the patch goes live.

What about Vanity? Capital City Decorations?
==========================================​

Absolutely! The Winter and Ice Vanity Sets will be available for purchase once again! But we also have new decoration for you. We are happy to announce that for the first time ever, we are introducing Legendary Capital City Decoration Blueprints! Check them out below:

These Items will be available for you to purchase in the new Store inside the event-exclusive new region, Fortress of the Ice King

Anything else coming for PvE?
============================​

Yes! in addition to all of the things mentioned above, we also have Advisor Reworks and Changes in store for you. Moreover, the third set of Legendary Advisors is on the way! More details will be announced in a separate post, so stay tuned.

What's coming to PvP?
=====================​

In addition to PvP-Exclusive Quests, with lots of different and fun objectives, we are getting an all-new Map Terrain Set: The Northern Tundra map set. Check it out below!

When is the Event being released?
===============================​

We expect to launch the Winter Event around December 23rd, but that is subject to change. Please join our Discord to have the latest news on this event and everything else.

Great work on those decorations! Last year I made a small Gingerbread village in my Norse City.

Now, its time to make a new village there!

 

Are the advisors rework released at the same time as the winter event, or after the event is over?

 

I believe the advisors are on the same patch as the winter event.
