Enemy Units survive in water

See screenshot. I destroyed the merchant transport carrying enemy units in the middel of the lake and the units survived in the water. They could walk around and damage my ships.

That's because those are actually shallows which allow both units and ships to pass. If you look closely, you will see that the color of the "ground" is different from the water next to the area in which the units are located.

That's odd. The shallow water you mentioned normally has a bit of a sandy colour. Not to forget, this is in the middle of a lake. But, still thanks for the reply!
