    How to play
    • You will be matched up against another teams (there would be modes that allows teamplay and solo play)
    • Your goal is to prevent your own castle/wonder from falling while trying to breach the other team's castle.
    Towers
    • Towers are the main mechanic of the game. You must build towers to deal damage to mobs.
    • There are several kinds of towers available by default and more are available in the shop.
    • Clicking a tower will bring up a menu on its statistics, an option to upgrade it, and if applicable, an option to sell the tower and get a percentage of the cost returned.
    Mobs
    • Every X min. a wave of "mobs" goes through your lane.
    • The enemy "mobs" can't damage or attack you but only yours tower deals damage to them.
    • every fifth or tenth round a boss wave happens.
The mode could allow up to 8 or even more players to play. gamemode like that are really popular in Starcraft II like Element Tower Defense. Even Minecraft server have tower defense already like CubeCraft server.

Good idea, tower defense games is getting popular, they did some such mods to AoE 2 also that we played some (me and my clan-friends in that game).

Could be a real good addition to this game ... REAL good

This could be as simple as adding a new questline about tower defense. Reminds me of "Keeping them under our wing". Im taking note of it, I like the idea.

There could also be some kind of skirmish alternative to this that makes it possible to choose different variables to make a quest that's just the amount of challenge you like. Like more/less resourses, harder/weaker enemies, more/less enemies ... and whatever you could have to choose from.

The only thing I would need to know in order to achieve this is figuring out how to create a custom ui where a person chooses several things before choosing a quest. If that can be solved, then just needs to know what possibilities to choose from. The skirmish already has choice for how many enemies, the resources and harder units. There are other things that can be added. If the custom ui part can be figured out, we would have to see what the community would like to see. There are lots of things that can be adjusted.

A custom UI takes it even further than I thought, I dont think it is neccessary.

What do you think can be done so a player can choose many options for a quest? I know that some can be achieved from quest files. However, with quest files, if we had quest files for every possible combination, there could be over 100 quest files for just lots of similiar quests. If you have a better suggestion, I am open.

You present a valid argument. I have no suggestion however.
