    Age Of Empires Online Celeste Fan Project will undergo planned server maintenance on the 27th of April 2021.
    17:00 UTC (19:00 CEST): The server will stop responding to login requests, meaning you will not be able to log on from this time.
    18:00 UTC (20:00 CEST): Start of maintenance.
    18:15 UTC (20:15 CEST): Expected end of maintenance.

    Correction - the update will be starting in 3 hours from now, not 55 minutes. (Sorry for the confusion)

    • Balance Changes:
      • Roman SPQR Tech: Cost reduced to 100w/100g, from 150w/150g.
      • Roman Decurion: Build Limit increased to 10, from 8. Train Time reduced to 20 seconds, from 23. Bonus Damage vs Priests increased to 2.5x, from 2.0x
      • Roman Decurion Champion: Now grants +50% Bonus Damage Protection and +50% Snare Resistance, from +25% and +40%.
      • Roman Centurion: Pilum Throw DPS increased to 60, from 50. Pilum Throw Snare increased to 0.20, from 0.50. Pilum Throw Range increased to 22, from 15. Line-of-Sight increased to 22, from 20. Train Time reduced to 19 seconds, from 25. Bonus Damage vs Priests increased to 2.5x, from 2.0x

      • Fixed an issue with Admiral Atilius where he didn't increase Roman Ennerises' Attack Rate as intended.
      • Fixed an issue with the Roman Enneris where its cost wasn't adjusted as intended.
      • Fixed an issue with Good Sailor Ammon where he didn't affect Roman Ennerises' Special Attack vs Buildings.
      • Fixed an issue with some items that had a "Maximum Range Increase" stat where they didn't display their stats correctly.
      • Fixed an issue with the Stone Wall upgrade for the Babylonians in their tech tree where it showed incorrect stats.
      • Fixed an issue with the Roman Aquilifer and Primus Pilus in the tech tree where it didn't show their aura effect stats in their description.
      • Fixed an issue with the Romans' starting spawn configurations in certain quests.

    • Roman Campaign:
      • Defend Capua: Fixed an issue where the co-op player would sometimes not properly spawn in their intended location.

    • Quest Updates:
      • Removed Movement Speed Wheels from the Roman AI's Battering Rams in level 40+ quests.
      • Fixed various exploits, bugs and glitches across multiple quests.
      • Legendary: Invasion of Rome: Cooldown reduced to 6 days, from 12 days. Rewards adjusted. Guaranteed Legendary Chest moved to the quest's optional objective. (Since it's a 6-day quest now.)
      • Legendary: Invasion of Clusium: Addressed some gameplay balance issues regarding solo and co-op modes. Fixed various exploits.
      • Legendary: Trouble at the Tigris: Fixed the issue with the bottom-right Walls and Towers not disappearing at the end of the quest, which made it impossible for players to reach two of the Guarded Treasures.

    • Art Updates:
      • Added all the missing icons to the Offline Mode Editor (for Terrain Mixes, Forests, etc.)
      • Added a new icon for the "Edit Forest" tool in the Editor.
      • Changed the icon for "Light Oak Beams" to better match its name (from a Wheel to Beams).
      • Updated the icon for "Recon Man" consumables for the Greek and Egyptian civilizations.
      • Updated the Aegean Sea and Thrace World Maps.
      • Updated the icon for the Aegean Sea region on the World Map.
      • Updated the Legendary Helmet for the Babylonian Spearman to be consistent with its Epic variant.
      • Fixed a few incorrect pixels in the Babylonian and Norse Economy Tech Trees.

    • Sparta PvP Updates:
      • Ranked Map Pool: "Inland", "Bandit Canyon", "Ghost Lake" and "Arabia" have been removed from the map pool. "Swamp Pass", "Savannah", "Coastal" and "Lowland Groves" will take their place instead.
        • Current Map Pool: Equal Footing, Treasure Island, Oasis, Sheltered Pass, Coastal, Mountain Crossing, Lowland Groves, Savannah, Watering Hole, Swamp Pass.

    • Champion Mode Changes:
      • Greeks:
        • Academy: Wood Cost reduced to 150w, from 200w.
      • Egyptians:
        • -
      • Celts:
        • Gold Mine: Cost reduced to 100w, from 175w. Build Time reduced to 20s, from 30s. (To match Storehouses)
      • Persians:
        • War Academy: Wood Cost reduced to 150w, from 200w. Moved back to Age II, from Age III.
      • Romans:
        • Centurion: Cost reduced to 70f/110g, from 80f/130g. (Also see global balance changes regarding this unit at the top of this post.)
        • Legionary: Bonus Multiplier vs Infantry increased to 1.75x, from 1.5x.
        • Scorpio: Cost increased to 140w/70g, from 120w/70g
        • Forum: Wood Cost reduced to 150w, from 200w. Build Time reduced to 30s (to match buildings of the same type), from 50s.
        • Millarium: Movement Speed bonus increased to 15%, from 5%. Aura range increased to 32, from 24. Cost reduced to 15w, from 20w. Build Time reduced to 13.5s (Effectively 10 seconds, due to the increased build rate of the Engineer), from 17.5s.
      • Babylonians:
        • Now has access to "Stone Splitting" (Age III Stone Gathering Upgrade).
        • Siege Tower: Population Count reduced to 4, from 5. Training Time reduced to 31s, from 35s.
        • Siege Tower Champion: No longer reduces Population Count by 1. Now grants Snare Immunity.
      • Norse:
        • Seer: Cost reduced to 60g, from 80g. Line-of-Sight increased to 40, from 34. Movement Speed increased to 8, from 7.
        • Raven: Line-of-Sight increased to 44, from 36.
      • Global:
        • Guard Tower: Line-of-Sight increased to 36, from 32.
        • Fortified Tower (First Guard Tower Upgrade - Age III): Cost reduced to 175w/75s, from 300w/100s. HP and DPS buff increased to +20%, from +15%. Now also grants +10% Maximum Range.
        • Stronghold Tower (Second Guard Tower Upgrade - Age IV): Cost reduced to 300w/100s, from 500w/150s. HP and DPS buff increased to +20%, from +15%. Now also grants +10% Maximum Range.
    • Updated the Champion Mode Website to the latest build.

      • Added the "Recon Man" consumable for the Celtic, Persian, Roman, Babylonian and Norse civilizations. You can find these consumables at each civilization's Capital City General Store.
      • Changed the requirements for the "Adventures of Brennos and Comontorios" Quest Line Completion Achievement to be the completion of the main quest line (to be consistent with other non-legendary quest lines), not the Legendary ones that follow afterwards.
