I'm going to review the reforge in its current state :
The base cost of 250 EP is too high for most legendary gear. But increasing the cost of reforging the same gear more than once to the point that it's almost never worth it is fine, since the whole point of reforge is to encourage players to buy more nerfed gear.
Reforged gear lose almost all their market value since they're untradeable, so a bad roll means that you've wasted 250+ empire points and coins. So it would be less risky to reforge cheap nerfed gear than expensive ones in the case the first reforge was "free"
Here's my suggestions :
-Reforged items still can't be traded, for two reasons :
First, non-reforged boosted gear wouldn't be as valuable as it used to be if they would compete with reforged boosted gear in the market.
Second, selling nerfed reforged gear would disappoint buyers wanting to reforge since they can't reforge the gear they bought (for cheap).
Also, write the the blue box : Once you reforge your item, it can no longer be traded.
-The first reforge costs only 5 EP, so you can reforge any nerfed gear that you want to equip regardless of its market value. Even though it looks cheap, keep in mind that reforged items can't be sold to other players. This change would most benefit useful legendaries that can be equipped by a small amount of units.
-Gear can be reforged only once, or the cost of reforging the same gear more than once is very high(750 EP for example) to discourage players from reforging the same gear more than once, so they would buy another nerfed gear instead.
The forge would still not be an easy way to get maxed gear since the decreased cost of reforge would be compensated by the raise of the demand for nerfed gear.
