Hey, I think for players at level 40, the gold rewards should be higher. The amount of time it takes to complete a quest can sometimes be long but the gold reward feels underwhelming. Originally the game was designed to be very grindy and time consuming due to micro transaction approach, but now since no micro and designed for pure fun I feel the rewards could be better especially the time put in the quest, this could balance the game more as global market and trading gives way more gold and quest gives a fraction. Also this could make quests more reason to play and great way to track up gold with amount of time spent on quest.

For standard quests: Increase gold reward by 100%

For Elite mode: Increase gold reward extra 100%

For Alliance Quest: Increase gold reward by 150%

For Legendary Quest: Increase gold reward by 200%

Empire Points should remain the same.

Do you think gold is difficult to earn?
I know I barely play atm and usually get hundreds of thousands of coin fairly quickly questing and selling odds and ends.
Right now it feels like there is far too much coin in the economy for the number of players we have.
Remember, raising the amount of coin a player gets does not necessarily equate to a better financial situation for players. If twice the gold as usual hits the market, items just kind of tend to cost twice as much.
Somthing to think about though. A good topic to bring up.

Personally, I think raising quest rewards would only exacerbate the problem, the game needs more gold sinks for hardcore players and/or gold nerfs for crete, sparta and lategame questing (skirmish and levelling quests are the only thing that are balanced or underpowered gold wise imo). Earlygame EP from questing is the only EP gain that might need a change (buff) imo.

If the Project Celeste team look to address gold abundance by bringing in bigger cuts for the auction house and/or COD, beware how it may skew trading in favour of straight up trading, and how any cost on exchange also puts pressure on pricing for that method of exchange (so unfortunately while a 5/10/x% exchange cost on all gold transactions between players would be most fair, it would leave casual players feeling most shortchanged because while there's less gold going round, everything's x% higher than it would be to cover the cost, in theory).

More items to spend on at vendors (cosmetic? consumable? gear? expensive new crafting plans for different things?) that people particularly later on in the game would want to get might help alleviate problems with gold, and looking at releasing quests that only give EP/chests/other currencies/more crafting materials.

Maybe being able to purchase another crafting workshop slot or two, or upgrade the base storage slot with a huge amount of gold could also help, or making the vault storage upgrades (that are EP) a gold purchase option (as well) at similar scaling, but for much larger sums?

Maybe the EP legendaries an EP or gold purchase option could help too, that's what seems to drive the value behind EP, and could suck huge amounts of gold out at once with 250k, 500k priced items.

We have a lottery system in the works that will not only make some players rich, but also syphon some gold out of the economy.
