Gear Guide - Part 3 - Upgrades while levelling up

I found, while levelling up my first civ, that gear was frustrating, there were lots of stores and crafted items, I wanted to take advantage of them but didn't want to spend time each level up checking them all out to find good choices. But while planning to level my other civs I used:https://celeste-items.netlify.com/ and https://search.projectceleste.com/ to figure out where the major useful and practical upgrades were. It was a larger list, but I found from using it that awkward items and many crafted items were just not worth the hassle of swapping civ to craft the item, easier to keep levelling with the gear I had and just pick something up later. So here is the fairly tight list of gear upgrades to consider while you level up. There are more options than this, especially if you've got lots of coin and like to craft all recipes, but if you want to do a quick check of what are good upgrades around my level, without much thinking or research, then this list will cover your needs.

I found also that you typically settle into a general strategy for your civ, so only some units really need upgrades, so don't over spend coin or time getting each item in the list, just do enough to keep your key units humming along.
