Game is slow and does not start

Hello
since Sunday my AOEO is very slow when I start and the Egyptians select it takes 5 min and then I'm back on the login screen.
Did the game komp. reinstalled, no change.
What else can I do?

That sounds like something wrong with the game files being read by your PC. Next time you launch AoEO, start task manager and then go to "Resource Monitor" and check your "disk usage". See if you see anything out of the ordinary!

I run the game off a hard drive (7200rpm. Have NVMe SSD for windows and shooters), and my loading screens are never more than a minute. I'd second PF2K's advice on checking out disk usage if you haven't had any problems with your internet recently.

I have now set up my complete system (windows10) and AOE Online reinstalled now all goes very fast.

What was the problem and what did you do to fix it? OS problem? Faulty hard drive?
