I just had a sudden thought, how would it be if certain decorations in the city had passive effects 1% more life points, 1s regeneration etc.. which have an effect in the game..

certain decorations from the quests, or expensive ones to buy in prestige island..

I think we're probably better off with having the region shield icons/achievement page unlocks themselves just offering a permanent one-time stat boost than having it come from vanity items themselves. OR make some kind of post 40 levelling system, whether it's across all factions as a global level or individual ones for each civ. And getting these levels lets you get stats either every level or for reaching milestone levels (every 10 or 25 or something). Kind of like paragon levels in Diablo 3 or champion levels in elder scrolls online.

The amount of whining to restore deleted or vendored unique cosmetics would drown the discord server. Plus anyone using the start at level 40 feature misses out on those cosmetics as well as the unique legendary rewards for finishing the questpacks. And if you just make it work on expensive cosmetics that aren't supply limited the top level of PvE will just decorate their whole capital city in them to stack that 1% attack speed or 0.5 health per second bonus
 
Would be nice if the old feature when someone buys stuff in your city you get some coins. Others then that i like Ardys idea with the completion gives a small bonus.
