Is there are way to put the advisors into classes and select the class you want for a quest?
Military Classes
Infantry - Anti Infantry - Ranged - Anti Ranged - Cavalry - Anti Cavalry
Military Ship Classes
Ranged - Anti Ranged - Siege
Economy Classes
Villager - Trade - Builders
Simplifies the chaos they are at the moment.
So for example
Villager Advisor Class 1 < - SELECT THIS TO GET In AGE 1
Villagers Move Faster - Slave Driver Zephyros
Gather Gold - Miner Kleon
Gather Stone - Rockhound Erastos
Gather Wood - Lumberjack Thutmose
Gather Wild Food - Net Maker Aapep
And reduce all stats to make it possible?
It would work as part of a tech tree with advisors enabled based on if they are collected or not. These classes would be our legendary advisors.
So restating the above:
Legendary Advisor Pericles of Athens
* Enables Combination of:
Villagers Move Faster - Slave Driver Zephyros
Gather Gold - Miner Kleon
Gather Stone - Rockhound Erastos
Gather Wood - Lumberjack Thutmose
Gather Wild Food - Net Maker Aapep
Legendary Advisor Heron of Egypt
* Enables Combination of:
Apprentice Mason Philon
Chieftain Britomartus
Seed-Master Agape etc all the building related ones that no-one uses
etc
You could make it work in one of two ways the Legendary replaces the advisor stats or you get what you have collected for that legendary class in terms of epic advisors. So if you are missing one or more you don't get the stats for it. Enabled only if one epic advisor in that class is collected.
