2023 Build Orders Thread - 0.8 Gather Rate Patches

Hey all,

Kire and others have been calling for updated build order guide videos now that the old ones are no longer really fitting as they're based around the old 1.0 res/sec gather rates.

Build - Ideal civs for it
Spearman (or Sparabara) First - As 200 Wood Start Civs (Greek, Egyptian, Celt, Persia)
Spearman First - Norse, Roman
Spearman First - Babylonian
Town Centre First - As All Civs - Redone for 300wood/300stone patches
The Greedy Dock Build - As All Civs
The Safer Dock Build - As All Civs

 

Long Age II - As Norse, Babylonian, Roman or Celt Melee
Warship First On Coastal/Treasure Island - As All Civs
1 Town Centre & Proxy On Water Maps - As Roman, Norse, Greek
2 Town Centre & Proxy On Water Maps - As Celt, Greek, Norse
3 Town Centre & Ram Push - As Greek, Egyptian, Persian, Babylonian, Roman
Stables Before 2nd Town Center - As Persian, Norse, Babylonian
Semi Fast 3TC 2 Rax Champion Axes - As Egyptian versus Egypt, Norse, Celts, Roman
Egypt 2 TC 2 Stables - As Egyptian versus Greek, Norse (if it's a big map), Persia, Babylonian
