Game does not start - d3dx9_40.dll not found
Agree. Perhaps your PC is set to direct 10 or 11, and you are given a window that a newer time is installed. The game, in this case, can only work at 9 (I had this problem with Skyrim for example). You'll have to delete 10 \ 11 to install 9, then reinstall 10/11.- Halte

It is Microsoft Visual C++. Try to download another year version (Maybe 2010 or less).- Halte
