Game Options keep resetting

    I have an issue where the game settings keep reverting back to default.

    Especially annoying is the profanity filter setting which keep reverting back to Enabled which stops chat displaying correctly words like assist, assassins (as in gauntlets) etc.
    I also frequently loose camera rotation ability.

    Does anyone else have this problem?

    Are these setting stored within a file on my PC and if so, would it be possible to make the file read only so once I have the settings as I want them they don't get altered ?

    The settings file is located in Documents\Spartan\Users2\NewProfile2.xml
    You could set it to read only if it keeps changing

    If Wartai's suggestion doesn't work then try comparing the settings file before and after it gets changed.

    There are more intermediate things we could try such as seeing which process is wiring to the file
