    I have a suggestion.
That is reduce the 6hrs to 4 or 3 hrs ..... Why ?
Now common Animal hides are 15 mins
    uncommon Leather are 30 mins
    Rare Fine leather are 2hrs
    Epic are 6hrs
    same for the other mats
It's a pretty big jump from 15m to 6hrs and it makes crafting a bit boring or you just buy them
    Here is an example :
    Arctic Fox Furs :
    Production Time 6h
So if you have 1 production building and you need 900
    1 production building make 4 in 1 24hr day
so to get 900 it will take 225 days or 7.5 months
Then if you repack your production and make only Arctic Furs 8 houses
It takes a month. Plus all the hassle of repack / make production
It's still 18 days to get 900 with all 8 prod houses
At 3hrs it is 14 days to 900
I think reducing epic mat production times will make crafting a more pleasurable pursuit;)
the arbitrary jump to 6hrs seems excessive

I get your point nevertheless if you play leg quests you get so many epic items for the Dismatler that i almost don't have enough space for the stacks, which can be changed into event points (halloween, summer, winter)

    +1 to Donar

I think if we didn't get the dismantler you'd be right in saying it takes forever to produce epic mats but now with dismantling the capital city production is merely a supplement for scrapping everything epic/leg you don't need

I was thinking of all the people who don't have 25m coin and can't happily deconstruct gear

I thought it was a simple logical change, 6hrs was the old game where you never needed 900 of anything.
Anyway I do have 25+m coin there is nothing I cannot buy in this game, all my civs are a gear 900+
    So I withdraw it
    Sry guys
    All the best

I like the lower times suggestion. I say keep it in mind devs...plus you forgot the OTHER materials that are required for crafting. It's not just the 900 Epics, it's also the Advanced Materials, and Legendary Recipes require 400 and an additional 200 materials each with only 2 workshops. Waiting 25 days for full stacks is Crazy in today's standards.

I think less crafting "waiting" times could entice players to login more often to collect mats, craft, sell and trade. Bringing more players sooner every month. Food for thought, that's it.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I decided to be a poor new playr
I repacked all my mats production to a single mat production in all civs (btw that is hard for a new plyr as they might not have the all the required in every Civ like I do)
It became boring .. so I gave up and went back to buying most of the stuff
I just wanted to get a little movement to make crafting mor fun and less of a grind

I think the idea now is that they want people dismantling terrible items, like Scrolls of Gilgamesh and such, so they can start slowly working their way for the new legendary material craftable gear, and the recipes just serve as a secondary source of it.

Fine , but there is room for both. The times are just not an incentive for crafting, it's like watching paint dry even with the dismantler . I agree with bbgambini

I got a few leg mat recipe's and they are a whole day ....
Anyway it is what it is but something needs to change on crafting it is not viable as it is too many restraints and long weights - like you can have a max of 2 special per civ - you want Philosophers Stone
Repak / Re install your buildings .... it's a bit dull

Well, I never said I was a fan of how it's handled. But given that it hasn't changed in a decade, I don't see them doing a substantial rework of the passive material workshops.

    It's a minor change , updating a table , changing a number
anyway no biggie , let's keep crafting a ................................ grind LoL
in 365 days I'll have 365 legendary mats from 1 farm and 365 from the other LoL then I'll sell them to recoup what I spent

I think there were 2 og global consumables: one for better tresaure and one for faster mat production. So the idea is there
