Indian Dev Blog #1: Intro + Storehouse, Armory, Watch Post, Plantation

MANY QUESTIONS! 1: How does the increased size of the plantation affect villager movement? Unlike in AoE2, in which villagers stay at a specific point on a farm, making the amount of time needed to deposit the food static, in AoEO, villagers move around the farm while farming, which adds a...

Developer Update 2021/07/09 (Advisor Loadouts, Indian Dev Blog #1 Teaser and more!)

And units, and the civ design itself so it isn't just a copy/paste of other civs. Let's not forget the voice lines and animations for every single unit. Techs, Milestones.. Now, additional Carthagian/Delian/Imhotep capital buildings, sure, cool. Could come with the eventual Alliance War Rework...

    Markets efficiency

For a work-around, zoom in closely when placing the market. Unless the TCs are directly overlapping the numbers will be fairly clear.

    Dropping decent itens

To answer one of OP's question, yes - All legendary items have a chance to drop from any lvl 40 chest. It's a much smaller chance then from legendary chests though, much smaller.

Suggestion of additional buffs to Lucky Lookout Leucon

That wouldn't be enough to make Lucky Lookout Leucon strong. While Scouts can be extremely tanky, they aren't the tankiest unit, and their damage is absolutely pathetic. Even if they benefited from the Stable's factory tech. It would also be a bit worse for Celts, who doesn't get stables till...

    Map Design Vignette Challenge 2021

Account name: Frogspoison. A small vignette showing a roman squad collecting tribute/taxes from a small greek hamlet, with bandits lurking, eyeing that juicy caravan train.

Suggestion, unbound Leg items with EP

If it's a fairly sizeable EP cost I feel it would be fine.

    Behind the BANG! - Caravans!

Yea, fortunately we will be able to see the "exact" number once the new preview changes is up, which I like. Now for Dock preview numbers next :D

LMCG - Legendary Meta Community Guide

So now that Kevsoft has revealed the caravan trading, I've done quite a bit of math with Caravans. First - In map sizes larger then 1100 in one side (I don't think there is a single one so far), Caravans will NOT be worth using until you have exhausted all gold deposits, as their gold...

    Behind the BANG! - Caravans!

Kevsoft, making sure - Docks also have a town center factor of 1, yes? It seems that Merchant Transports have a naturally higher work rate, being at 1.5

    Behind the BANG! - Caravans!

Allright people, I have done MATHS, and bring to you my findings! First finding - The absolute BEST Merchant Gear for trading, for both Caravans and Merchant Transport, is the Merchant Log of the Nile! A very, VERY close second is the craftable Titan-Bound Gaff Stick! The previous favorite, the...

    Behind the BANG! - Caravans!

It's good to see the exact formula for caravan trading. I hadn't known about the map size itself affecting trade value. With a unit's speed, that's the number of tiles traveled per second, yes? And is +trade bonus from gear/tech/advisors treated as a seperate multiplier to the end result? It...

LMCG - Legendary Meta Community Guide

It's fine to add all the tips regarding caravans and merchant tranpots. Kevsoft's upcoming change to the market preview wasn't taken into account when I wrote that post, looking forward to it myself! On Amunet, while she isn't quite as powerful as Nannus in getting the caravan trade going...

LMCG - Legendary Meta Community Guide

A bit more on caravans - I did roughly 2 hours of testing to try to understand their mechanics quite a bit better, and in the process, I found that Caravans, without any gear nor co-op bonus and just the universal A4 upgrade, provide slightly over 3 gold per second at their most optimal...

[TUTORIAL] LEGENDARY : LIBERATING THE VILLAGE OF SAIS

I would strongly suggest Renegade Escapde Grand Finale in Cyprus - It has only a single AI, the AI will only send roughly 5-6 siege units at you over the course of the entire game, along with small (10 or less) waves of units at you, and the main thing to watch out for is the enemy General...

    Priest items, some ideas

Not really a fan of changing already existing items, especially not the legendaries. Staff of the Ice King has health because Ice King items have either health or snare as part of their stat budget. The alliance items are very affordable as well, there is no point making entirely new legendary...

    Roman Campaign: City Under Siege

If I remember correctly, is this the quest in which you start out with a good number of engineers, 2-3 siege workshops, a good number of castellums? Additionally you have a wonder-like structure you have to defense? I did this pre-15 (Because I remember that I couldn't make Onagers), and the...

    Bella, come home quest

First of all, if you REALLY want that chest, it can be done depending on the camp composition on all civs. First, you'll need the Ra's Gem horse armor on your scouts - It's the armor that has a tremendous amount of inf armor. Other pieces of gear don't matter as much as the Ra's. Then you'll...
